Kentucky Recruiting 2015

UK should not allow his family back into Rupp Arena. That is a disgrace that he said he was a UK fan. Cheers to him and hoping he has a first round exit all the time he is at duke. Another great reason to hate duke.
SMH...

Listening to Kennard announcement.

Me too. When Mark, his dad mentioned those he would like to thank, my aunt and uncle was one of them. They are close friends.

Man really wanted him baddddddd. Oh well next man up. Hope he has a successful career

Best of luck to him--Guessing the phrase "Next JJ Reddick" was uttered at some point during his visit?? Probably a good choice for him as he'll be featured a lot on offense, and get a good education; and he won't have to play much D--LOL. Would have liked to see him in KY Blue, but sounds like this was where he wanted to be.

If you are a life long UK fan there is no way you could go to Duke.........PERIOD!!

Says he is still a UK fan and will root for them in the tourney.

Sigh...I'm a UK fan, life long. Had I got accepted, I was going to Duke without question.

There are lots of factors that go into where these kids end up. Maybe his personality gels better with Coach K than Cal. Maybe he likes the campus better. Maybe he likes the idea that if basketball doesn't end up being a career for him that a degree from Duke will look exceptional on a resume.

Really nice post. He also may have talked to Derek Willis and Jon Hood:idunno:

Sometimes there is more to decisions than sports. Maybe he takes his academics seriously and wants a Duke degree? Nothing wrong with that at all. Lifleong UK fan or not, passing up Duke if your serious about education is a hard deal to turn down.

How would that factor in at all? He's much better than both of them

Best of luck to Kennard. Fact of the matter is that UK's 2015 class is fine without him, so there shouldn't be too much to worry about. Matthews is already on-board, hopefully Newman soon to follow. Add that in with Booker and Ulis more than likely returning and you have a crowded back court. With that all being said, again, good luck to Kennard; I hope he succeeds at Duke.

Hard to say a kid made a poor decision when his choices were between UK and Duke. Best of luck to him.

Willis and Hood were different players than Kennard but very, very good their junior and senior years, as was Polson. They didn't get the nation wide pub because Duke didn't recruit them. He's not any better than any of those 3 from the limited video that have seen of him

Highly debatable.
