His decision may have been made weeks ago for Duke, but the twins most probably staying I'm sure p,ayed a role in it. It was known weeks ago they probably would be staying and he knew it when he visited Duke.

Twins won't matter they'll likely be gone by the time he would get there. It's more less Booker coming back with Mathews and perhaps Newman coming in the same class that would be a factor.

Neither influenced his decision.. It is all about relationships with the coaches.

The Coaches must have promised him the moon when he went diwn there. UK has been on him a lot longer.

Kennard says he is a UK fan, BullCrap. A UK fan doesnt go to duke over UK. I guess duke has had plenty of time this week to recruit more since mighty Mercer beat them out in 1st round.

I heard that Duke told him to commit or they were pulling his offer, so the timing seems to make me believe it will be the "Devils". His Grandfather apparently has UK season tickets though, so maybe that will sway him away from the dark side.

Sigh...I'm a UK fan, life long. Had I got accepted, I was going to Duke without question.

There are lots of factors that go into where these kids end up. Maybe his personality gels better with Coach K than Cal. Maybe he likes the campus better. Maybe he likes the idea that if basketball doesn't end up being a career for him that a degree from Duke will look exceptional on a resume.

You can scratch better looking girls off your list

Listening to Kennard announcement.

Dad talks too much. Let the kid speak.

Luke Kennard commits to Duke. Props to Coach K, taking advantage of all the free time he had this past weekend.

UK should not allow his family back into Rupp Arena. That is a disgrace that he said he was a UK fan. Cheers to him and hoping he has a first round exit all the time he is at duke. Another great reason to hate duke.

Duke it is.

Who can argue with any kid going to Duke?

Good luck to him. Seems like a good kid who is easy to root for.

Come on. Don't be that fan.
