Yes, with the Cubs here till Wednesday, Buddy has the attorneys working on the bankruptcy filing.

I got a FEVER! And the only prescription...is MORE PIZZA!

Plus they kept Joey from a sleepless night with his demons.

Winning heals all wounds.

I'll take the aphorism that scoring hides a multitude of sins.

If the Cubs had decided to walk the bases loaded instead of face Cesar Izturis or Devin Mesoraco in the 13th inning, it would have been Homer Bailey batting in the 9th spot for reliever Alfredo Simon.

Reds manager Dusty Baker said he didn’t want to burn his backup catcher, so he had ordered Bailey to put on his spikes. Bailey was in the hole, with a helmet on and a bat on his head when Izturis singled home Jay Bruce with the winning run in the bottom of the 13th inning.

“Who do you want to face? Izzy or some guy hitting .400?” said Bailey, who is 2 for 5 this season. “What do you think they had the meeting on the mound for?”

Went to bed before it ended. Recordedthe last 2 innings and just watched them. Nice little surprise to wake up to this morning.

So do you get paid based on your sales?

We do make a small percentage in commission. Then we also make tips, which usually on a $8.25 beer, you'll get at least .75.

I believe last year it was 10 KO's for LaRosa's pizza and UDF ice cream. This year its 11 KO's for LaRosa's pizza. You have to think that next year it will be 13 KO's for Papa John's or Domino's haha!

Marshall a perfect inning of relief for Louisville last night. He threw 12 pitches, and had 2 K's.

Got to think he'll be back tonight. The only reason he may not be is because with the 'pen getting used to the max and Tony on the mound tonight Dusty might want to keep Parra in case we need innings. Can't imagine he wouldn't be back by tomorrow though he wakes up today feeling alright.

I believe Dusty said he wanted to see how he would react after pitching back to back nights.

And after back to back nights he would need a day off. That pushes it back to the start of the road trip on Thursday...

As for last nights game. Me and a buddy of mine were talking. He was saying about how great of a win it is, and that you know this team is going somewhere with wins like that...

I, not trying to be a downer but trying to be realistic, said "or you know you're playing the Cubs." Not discounting the win, but we didn't play well last night. His response was "good teams find ways to win when they don't play well." Which I think has merit also.

Where do you stand on the matter?

That would make sense also...

It is the Cubs but good teams find a way to beat those crappy teams. Example taking 3 of 4 from the Marlins.
