May 15, 201313 yr UK is 10-11 deep! :scared: Im sorry college basketball but you cant get more deep/talented than this roster :isurrender:
May 15, 201313 yr ^Still a scary talented group....I think Big Willie Style is going to explode next season. :idunno: The next Tyson Chandler if he dedicates himself to defense.
May 15, 201313 yr ^Still a scary talented group....I think Big Willie Style is going to explode next season. :idunno: He definitely needs to improve his free throw shooting. If he doesn't the defense will not allow him anything easy inside the paint. Teams will take their chances on his poor % from the line, and that would make him a liability in close games in the final minutes.

See that happening this year too.
May 15, 201313 yr Noel 2, Poythress 8, Goodwin 14 according to Rivals. Thanks--That was my reason for asking, as KY will bring back another top 10 talent, and one who may turn out to be in Cawley-Stein. Now they need to get a top 10 motor from Poythress on a consistent basis, which he did show at times. They should be OK!!
May 15, 201313 yr So whose the leader of the team next year? Will it be one of the freshman? If it is, I'd say Randle. I'd really like to see WCS step up and be the guy personally.
May 15, 201313 yr I think it will be tough sledding for any of the returning players to really take command. Not only are the freshmen coming in top dogs talent-wise--and these kids all know that their class is supposed to be unusually strong compared to last years' crop which was considered unusually weak--but they also won't be looking back at what these players accomplished in 2012-13 with much awe. I think Calipari would basically have to force the issue of making one of the returning players the leader, and I don't think the juice is worth the squeeze on that.

I think Cauley-Stein has that ability. For all of his erratic play WCS never shied away. I am not sure Dakari is going to step in and control things down low.

My statement wasn't meant to knock Dakari, he will be great. I just think WCS demeanor is different than that of a Poythress that will not allow himself to be just shoved to the curbside.
May 15, 201313 yr Thomas Beisner @thomasbeisner Calipari says he's just as confident after Wiggins decision as he was before.
May 15, 201313 yr Kyle Tucker @KyleTucker_CJ Cal on 40-0: "We're chasing perfection. We're chasing greatness. We're chasing things that have never been done."
May 15, 201313 yr Cal says both Hood & Polson will return on scholarship, that Wiljer's "body must change", & that WCS has the potential to be "one of the best players" he's ever coached.
