UK Roster for 2013/14

2nd 5

G. Young

G. Hawkins

F. Lee

F. Wiltjer

C. Johnson

They could sell tickets to this 5 on 5 practice.

Intra-Team Competition will be a huge advantage for this team, rarely will any player get pushed harder in a game than they will practice.

Id put Polson ahead of Hawkins right now. But still that makes UK so deep. Hood was the 7-8th man last year, this year hes the 12th :lol2:

Even though Wiggins-less; I love the fact that I keep reading repeatedly by the recruiting experts, scouts, etc. about these players, and consistently keep hearing words like highly competitive, tough, hates to lose, physical, high-motor, killer instinct, etc. Most of this has been missing since Nerlens went down, although we saw some spurts from the returning guys, especially Willie.

It makes me really excited about this team. I'm sure they will have some games with a lot of turnovers and missed shots, but I think we are going to have a team that simply gets after it and fights for everything they can get.

Numbers game: Who will wear what in 2013-14? » UK basketball recruiting news

^ Jarrod Polson will be giving his #5 to Andrew Harrison.

What # will Polson be wearing?

Yes.

IMO you earn the number you want, I don't care if the twin had that number in HS and his AAU team, tell him he can have it his Soph year :)

Many others feel the same way. I'm not one of them. Speaks more highly of Polson than it does anything else.

Again, I agree! But when does is cross the line of taking advantage? Now I could see if he said the number meant something close to his heart, like a family members old number or something.

I don't think it crosses any lines. We see it quite often in sports these days. Just my opinion though. As I said, many others are in agreement with you.

Well #3 fits Polson, as religious he is he can say it represents the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.
