The Packhouse (meatballs) appears to be open on Monmouth. Has anyone tried it yet?

Anyone been to The Little Nashville of Newport on Monmouth? It's a bar and restaurant that has Country acts playing on a raised stage. The kitchen serves steak, fried catfish and burgers and grilled chicken, country fried chicken as well as other items and on Tuesdays, they’re offering crayfish boils. This is another place on my list.

As I understand it, they also offer a good chance at getting involved in a drunken fist fight there

I don't know, I'm not seeing any info on the website about it. I'm hoping not, otherwise my wife won't want to go, she has asthma.

I have a small handful of buddies in the NKY law/law enforcement community who have said that place has already developed quite a rep for that. I don't get the idea that it's the "dinner crowd"....but it may not be such an easy-going place after, say, 7:30 or 8:00.

I'm always surprised the place is still open. I rarely see people in there despite hearing it's pretty good.

 

Horrible location, kinda out of the way. Made the same comment to Mrs. TAC. We were there during what shoud have been a very busy time on a Saturday night, yet only 3/4 full. Plus they don't turn the tables very quickly. I still reccomend it.

On a side note I loved going to John Phillips. LOL

No but drove past it on Saturday night and it was ummmm a Packed House.:isurrender:

Sounds like its the Jerzee punks that have moved up the street. I aint got time for places like that at my age.

We were there Sat night listening to Aly An and there wasn't any smoking. Makes it really nice. The 2nd floor opens this week. The gentleman that owns Sis's across the street also owns Little Nashville. The place was jam packed Sat night.
