Who Has Grown Up On BGP?

Featured Replies

No way, once a guy is as "experienced" as you, first names are out out of respect.

But when I call him Clizzy that is being respectful.

Got my 10 year coming up. Joined in college, got suspended a time or 2 . Been through college, on my 2nd grown up job, got married, bought a house. All that's left is kids and dying :D

And Randy Parker will tell you I am growing out on BGP.

Awww....you're not fat.

Joined in '01 during my freshman year of college. I took a year or two hiatus (kept the name but didn't post or read) but for all intents my entire adult life has happened while a member of this site. Pretty wild when you sit and think about it.

Perhaps the question for me would be "Who has grown old on BGP?"
I would be one of those. Also when I joined, most everyone thought I was a male.....females don't talk b-ball......:D

You and Tony Danza.

I got my subscription as one of my 17th birthday gifts, and haven't looked back since.

Couldn't leave if I wanted to, and believe me... I have tried.

Mrs. TAC says I refuse to grow up.

On a side note,

What shocks me is how many 'kids' are on here. I always considered it an older crowd. I'd prefer posting to adults about their kids or the things they love, versus talking about a student to a student.

Received a subscription from my mother-in-law during Christmas of 2008 & it became a recurring gift from then on.

I've been on BGP for roughly 40% of my entire life. I wouldn't exactly say I grew up on BGP, but it's been a significant portion of my time.

Whoa whoa whoa. Are you saying you can change your BGP identity?

Back in the day, it must have been permitted. I know a certain Conner High School graduate who did it too. :D

I became a member after my senior year in 06, a week before my 18th birthday.

And from a figurative sense BGP has made me grow up and given me a different perspective on a lot of matters in life. That is what I find cool about it.
