From what I have heard...he had 2 pistols...no rifle...rifles are hard to conceal...rifles are hard for rapid fire. I heard he was wearing body armor. That can be concealed under clothes. I didn't hear anything about a mask.

 

Apparently he was wearing black fatigues and a vest and you are right, he left the rifle in the car.

 

I haven't been keeping up with it all that much just catching bits and pieces.

I tell you what, I have not had anything against Pierce Morgan, but he is acting like a jerk with his stance tonight.

Lot of confusion re: shooter's mom.

 

It looks like she was killed at home and not at school as some reports said.

 

It also appears to be false that she was even a teacher there.

 

THAT makes me wonder more how the kid got in the school.

Just seen on Twitter that someone has created a Twitter handle posing as one of the deceased kids. There are some pretty sick people in this world and I wish they'd all join the shooter where he's at right now.

I don't buy into all this mental problems either, it is just an excuse for people to use. I don't buy into depression either. I am both every day dealing with my kids and job, but I seem to manage just like everyone else. People with mental problems don't have stuff like that planned out and if depressed he would do something to himself and not an innocent kid.

 

This guy was just demon possessed and evil. What other reason would he kill his mom and little kids.

I heard there were a lot of holiday parties going on in the school and there were going to be 60+ parents coming into the school. That likely made it easy for him to get in. They were probably hitting the buzzer on the door non stop.

Nothing wrong with a reasoned debate re. the gun control/2nd Amendment stuff.

 

But now ain't the time.

And it's too early to know what the young man had going on in his mind now and all the days before. My reason for hesitating in putting it out there was just because of that very thing you mentioned.

 

I do not think the violence and Asbergers are connected. I said Asberger's has the ability to produce depressive states and the ability to divorce reality and reason from what one perceives.

I was thinking this last night as I went to bed, even though I know it won't happen, but I am kind of praying we don't see those photos, I don't see anyone having a dry eye looking at them.

The sad thing is, no amount of security can prevent this stuff. If someone wants to create a massacre, most likely it will happen.

However, if the doors are locked at all times it certainly decreases the chances of something happening.

 

It's now coming out that the door was locked and he was not buzzed in, that in fact he smashed his way in by breaking glass on a locked door.

There were no assualt rifles used. It was all pistols...not sure what kind though.

 

I'm not in favor of gun bans...but I am in favor of people having to pass a psych. evaluation to own one.
