I can't imagine being a police officer or EMT having to enter that classroom.

 

I knew one of the VA State Police Investigators that worked the scene at VA Tech.

 

Worst story I heard was he told how the cell phones on the deaceased Students kept ringing. No doubt it was their parents, friends and relatives and the officer said, "I knew no one would ever answer." Haunts him to this day.

Gun control mouthpieces need to go away.

 

As do the folks against gun control. My whole facebook feed is all about saving the guns. Both sides need to shut up IMO.

Schools need to be on a lockdown at all times. The doors should be locked to the entrance and there should be a vestibule type area with someone maintaining it and monitors who comes in to the school.

 

Exactly how my step-kids school is, you have to be buzzed into the school, then buzzed through another set of doors. Prob is the school may have been familiar with this guy since his mom taught there.

So did the kid come up to the doors and they weren't locked?

Did he come up and was recognized and let in?

If he was let in how did he conceal 4 guns?

The sad thing is, no amount of security can prevent this stuff. If someone wants to create a massacre, most likely it will happen.

I'm thinking the young man gained access because he was recognized as his mother's son...kid probably went to school there as a child. They had a video recognition at the door. That is all. If you were not recognized then you were met from outside the door.

Wasn't he wearing a mask and vest? That along with the rifle would be hard to hide wouldn't it?

From what I have heard...he had 2 pistols...no rifle...rifles are hard to conceal...rifles are hard for rapid fire. I heard he was wearing body armor. That can be concealed under clothes. I didn't hear anything about a mask.
