I have been told that this is a "done" deal. The schools are now trying to get ESPN, Fox or CBS to maybe broadcast the game pitting a 6 time state champ against the defending 2A champ from Florida. This is a great opportunity for Highlands for no other reason than to fill out there schedule for 2013.

I hope that the game is picked up by ESPNU as I will be in Hawaii (Aug 18-Sep 8) when it is played and can DVR the game.

Thinking that game against University Christian would be a fun birthday and great way to kick off the football season. May even run in to some BGP folks too.
