Highlands schedule in 2013

Featured Replies

Saw a couple kids at the pool the other day.....Highlands either has a top notch weightlifting coach/program or the JuiceWeasel is loose....freakish to think these are just teenagers.

Going back to my days in HS and hanging out with a lot of Highlands kids, I know that they hit the weights VERY HARD in the offseason. You either get big and strong to beat out other kids for a position, or you don't see the field. Plain and simple.

The fact that they have 100 kids out this year just further proves that point. They will have 40-50 kids at the frosh level as well.

I'll have a video interview up later with Seth Hope talking recruiting and both him and Drew Houliston talking about the upcoming season.

Temperature and females probably had alot to do with it.

That's a negative ghost rider.....

You of all people know the the weight training this kids are going through and the powder they are pouring down their throats. Our boy Wief wouldn't appreciate your comments about kids juicing over his Nutrition plan. I'm sure you made the "JuiceWeasel" comment just to be funny right.....?????

Dead period.

Only juice I remember was the coaches encouraging Choc. Milk after lifting. They still doing that?

Dead period.

I know, been there. Just having some fun with the boys.

Last person I want on my tail is Wie man.

Both Seth and Drew talk about the schedule here:

This current monster has been in the building stages for what about 6 or 7 yrs now. Add that to to the other 90+ yrs of tradition at Highlands and you got a recipe for another great yr.

I just believe Dale has taken Highlands to an entirely different level of play at the moment with the two platoon system, "one of the finest weight and conditioning programs in America" (Urban Meyer comment to Dale in a meeting last yr) and an incredible nutritional program,

Highlands is just a step behind big school Power Trinity and have proven they can compete with the GCL giants and I believe 2013 season is going to be one to remember.

Since this isn't the New York Times, fact-checking is slightly less important, but per my kid, ESPN contract is a done-deal for University Christian...so says Dale. They're coming on Monday to check out DCMS. They may be nervous.

More talk about the schedule here:
