Agreed! One thing to remember is 25% of the boys at HHS is on the team and not in the stands. I Wonder what the average percentage is among football players and the male student populations at other schools? Does 25% sound extremely high for a small school? I don't know, that's why I'm asking.

 

I expect a bigger crowd at the T vs. H scrimmage. It should be a dandy !! :thumb:

Highlands will draw a huge crowd for this game, especially since it is being nationally televised, the curiosity factor and the fact that Highlands is being billed as really, really good this yr...

 

Without the ESPN gig, then maybe an average Highlands crowd (which is usually bigger than most teams in NKY huge crowds in the first place)

 

I doubt their will be competition from other area games that will hurt the attendance...Just sayin

Good question. Depends on the weather. If it's HOT I'll be on my couch watching it up close on the 51".

I'm not sure how big the crowd will be at DCM stadium on a hot Saturday afternoon in August - my guess an average HHS home game crowd. The lack of UC fans will be made up by the N KY high school football fans that are looking for an early season game to attend. I will definitely be there.

 

What I do know is that the game will be nationally televised and has potentially hundreds of thousands of viewers. I will have the DVR cranked up and be able to watch over and over again. May even see my boy ( and girl - dance team ) on an ESPN telecast.

 

I appreciate Dale and crew pushing for this type of game and exposure. Its good for the kids and the program.

Only a fool would attempt to predict a score in this game. We haven't seen the Birds this year. Talk is cheap.
