Max preps had university as the #92 team in Florida last season and highlands #2 in ky.

 

This season they're ranked 152 in state. They've apparently got a tremendous Guard by the name of Josh Allen. Other than that, they've recently been polled as one of the least likely teams to repeat as 2A champs in the State of Florida.

I remember looking them up on Calpreps and they finished the year 10-15 spots behind Boyle County in last years final rankings

Totally unrelated but Moeller had a heck of a schedule last season. Beat the top team from Maryland and Michigan along with the #3 team in Michigan. Also cathedral and won the championship, hats off to them.

True although I don't think they had much to correct, just a tough tough schedule.

RE kicking duties, last year they started out with two kids handling these positions, JC Mettens punting and Luke Brockett as place kicker and kickoffs. Daugherty proved he had a stronger leg for kickoffs and took that duty over a couple games in. Plus, Luke was a receiver as well and what with Highlands offense, he was getting gassed. This year I expect touchbacks to be almost automatic. I hear Brockett is staying on placekicking. No clue who's punting.

Not a years past expert, but JC was solid last year. Just looked it up. He averaged 30 yards for the year. In particular, I remember him pinning Cov Cath back early in the game a couple times in the playoffs. I bet Dale has something figured out for this year.

UC is not bringing many fans.

Saturdays draw less than Fridays.

It's early enough in the season that everyone isn't in football mode yet.

Plus, it's Saturday.

 

They will draw a "decent size" crowd but not the huge crowd as someone mentioned earlier.

I think late afternoon is a bit of an odd time which wont help either.
