If you are an HHS fan, you love him. If you aren't, you many not like him, but you respect him. What he is is the most amazing motivator that I've ever seen. My boys will be waterboys this year. He met w/ them in the coaches' office, and I couldn't believe how awesome he was with them. He made them feel genuinely welcome and wanted. He made them feel like they were integral to Friday nights. They came out of the mini-meeting so excited. (All hope of them going to NewCath has now been exterminated). If he makes 6th graders who want to carry water feel like that, imagine what the players feel like. No wonder he gets kids to sacrafice for the good of the team. You can tell that it comes w/ the proper motivations and intentions.
