Highlands playing BG in 13, would be just winning or losing to another KY team. (We often hear how "others" think about Ky high school football.)

 

Playing a 2A state title team from Florida would have the whole NKY area "rocking" , even the haters might jump on the bandwagon. Win or lose it would show just how far this HHS program has come. Talk about national exposier?

 

 

Agreed... BG does'nt get Highlands any points in the National picture, just the statewide braggin rights category.

 

For the Haters, I got a feeling they will get sick of the National exposure talk of Highlands over the next two yrs. Just sayin...:thumb:

 

BTW, in the grand scheme of things, this game helps the state of KY more then it helps Highlands imo.

 

All the Highlands, T, and a X haters need to remember all the exposure is a really good thing for KY H.S. Football...

Opening game is against University Christian. I believe that Holmes, CovCath and Harrison County maintain there spots on the schedule except that the venues are reversed from last year. Understand that Paducah Tilghman and John Hardin are Saturday games before the CovCath game.

If I interpreted an email correctly, a school that had thought it had mistakenly scheduled 11 games and asked Highlands to look elsewhere so it could get down to 10 games, made a mistake when they thought they booked 11 games. So, if I interpreted the e mail correctly, Highlands doesn't have to find another game.
