June 29, 201214 yr On the second floor of a huge 3 story office building in the center of the building and all of the sudden I can actually hear the rain/hail. Wild, been here over 7 years and never heard any thing like that.
June 29, 201214 yr On the second floor of a huge 3 story office building in the center of the building and all of the sudden I can actually hear the rain/hail. Wild, been here over 7 years and never heard any thing like that. That storm caused the temperature to drop over 20 degrees in a matter of minutes. And now that I look again, it's 74*. So almost 30 degrees. Crazy.
June 29, 201214 yr That was a powerful storm. Blew over a barn in my neighbors yard , broke my new umbrella,Broke my flag pole and holder, and blew the table off of my deck.
June 29, 201214 yr That storm caused the temperature to drop over 20 degrees in a matter of minutes. And now that I look again, it's 74*. So almost 30 degrees. Crazy. I wish I could have done a screen shot(I bet NWO would have). The radar map on weather.com was defaulted to the temperature map due to the recent highs, well about 45 mins before it started to get wild I logged on and looked at the temp map and there was a very clear and concise system pushing down from the great lakes. It created literally a yellow bulge of lower temps from the great lakes heading directly south towards Cinci. The temps around Columbus and Dayton were reading at or around the mid 70's while it was in the 100's in NKY. I kept watching and as the temps lowered further and further south it just kept getting darker and darker and the dew point kept rising along with the humidity. I'm like NWO in that I like watching this stuff all unfold and today it was very easy to visually see the true cause and effect of the storm as it worked it's way south.
June 30, 201214 yr My windshield got dented by a falling tree limb as I was trying to drive home in this evening's wind storm. Oh well, could've been worse.
