See, this is why I love winter. I can (almost) always put on more layers. You can only shed so many before they arrest you. :D

Has anyone tried to fry an egg on the pavement? How long

did it take?

Weather.com has it @100 in Covington & Independence. Toasty out there.

I just don't care for cold weather, sweating is one thing but I really don't like losing feeling in my extremities as a result of cold temps. As for the current weather this isn't hot weather, this weather is just plain stupid. At least the humidity is only around 30% because if it were around 70-80% people would be dropping like flies.

104 in Bowling Green

My son is playing is a 3 v 3 soccer tourney this weekend just north of Kings Island.

We've got games scheduled in the afternoon, so those will surely be cancelled too.

Our soccer director has been coaching a group of kids for a 3v3 soccer tournament. I'm not sure if they're playing in that tournament or not.

Looked at the 10 day forecast and ummmm it's going to cool down I guess if you want to call it that, high by next Thursday will only be 92.... of course they're calling for around double the current humidity.

So it will feel the same most likely.

Roasting down here in wky! Glad I work nights!

103 in Dry Ridge I came home and the plants in the garden where all waiving white flags.

So it will feel the same most likely.

That's about my take on it. Will be great for late night swims though those pools will stay pretty warm after dark.

Paducah has tied the record high at 105 which was set in 1952.

I don't know if by back porch themometer is correct or not, but I just looked at it and it was 98 degrees, and it's almost 7 pm.

Leaving the parking garage at French Lick at 4:45, the outside temp reading in my car was 95...after exiting the property and driving less than 10 miles (about 5pm), I glanced at it, and it was 107 . Got past Paoli, toward Palmyra, I look again....105 (20 min). I get home and park and it's 104 here in the Highlands...6:12. I watered my plants really well this morning about 5am...over watered them in fact. I'm going to have to do it again before I go to bed. I'm waiting until about 8:45, hopefully the temp will be under 100 by then. I hope when I walk my dog in the morning it's below 80.
