We have thought about bumping them back, but we're dealing with coach pitch kids, so we don't want to go too late. Our games have an hour and 15 minute time limit. I'm just going to monitor the temps this afternoon and make a decision. If the breeze stays steady like it is now, I think we'll be fine.

I was asked the other night what we would do if it was a HS game. I said it would be cancelled or pushed back. I guess they must have listened. In this type of heat it can fool you. Since it is a dry heat when you sweat it evaporates quickly. It is not like when it is humid. This can cause some serious problems because people think because they are not sweating very much they are not overheating. It can get you very quick. Need to make sure they have access to plenty of water. I am going to pack of cooler for the entire team.
