What was your favorite Halloween costume?

I'm thinking of a kid's costume, but I guess some people dress up as adults too.

For me, I most remember dressing up as Batman as a kid. Looking back, it was so uncool, because this was before any of the movies. So I was Adam West Batman & not the more modern ones. Tights and everything. :lol2:

One Halloween my wife was the Wicked Witch of the West. In turn, I was The Wicked Witch of the East. Made this costume out of a twin mattress egg shell cover. The design on it was a house, a yellow brick road coming out from under it, and two legs hanging below. It was awesome.

When we were small in the late 50s and early 60s we wore the store bought stuff but as we got a little older and family finances were restrictive, the best costumes were the ones we made ourselves. Heck, that was a lot of the fun of Halloween.
