2019 Pan American Games

Anyone else been watching these on networks of espn? I've been watching them getting hyped for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. They started on July 24th and go though August 11th.

Eloy Vargas/Camacho is playing for Dominican Republic in Basketball. Eloy played for the 2012 national championship team at UK.

USA has 34 gold 26 silver and 21 bronze for 81 medals so far.

USA ends the night with 41 gold 35 silver 25 bronze for 101 medals. Brazil, Canada, and Mexico are fighting for 2nd place.

The Big East Conference( College) Basketball all stars are representing team USA.

The USA sent mostly B teams or college athletes to the pan American games. Swimming and track and field, or as they call it in the pan am games(athletics) start on the 6th of August. USA is expected to dominate both even with the B teams.

The USA Men's Basketball team beat the Dominican Republic to earn the bronze.

USA ends the night 8/7/19 with 73 gold, 57 silver, 50 bronze for 180 medals.

USA ends the night 8/8/19 with 82 gold, 69 silver, 55 bronze for 206 medals.

USA was disqualified in the 4x100 mixed medley (swimming) relay last night in which they originally won the gold. I have no idea why.
