MJAlltheWay24
The Norse move on in the Horizon League tournament. Sure seems like the Norse tend to play better in the 2nd half, especially at home.
NEERFAN
Sharpe, Faulkner and McDonald combined for 60+.
hrcarrier
I couldn’t believe that Detroit led by seven at halftime even with the Norse being a better second half team.
MJAlltheWay24
Drew McDonald is apparently the 25th player in D-1 history to obtain 2,000 points, 1,000 rebounds and 250 assists in their career.

Voice of Reason
What's next for NKU?
MJAlltheWay24
What's next for NKU? They play the #3 seed, Oakland in Detroit on Monday Night. I think its the late game, so 9:30pm. The two teams split during the season. The Norse to the L at Oakland 76-74 and beat them at home, which was the Homecoming game 79-64. #1 Wright State & #4 Green Bay play the game before. UKMustangFan
Couldn't play much worse defensively than the Norse did in the 1st half. Drew seemed to have an off night, even though he ended up with 19. Tate & Walton also struggled. Sharpe & Faulkner really stepped up. More than anyone else, the improvements from game 1 of the season to now for Chris Vogt have been nothing short of spectacular. He gave this team a much needed spark in the 2nd half, and absolutely dominated both ends for a crucial 4-5 minute stretch. If he can keep developing his footwork and work on his defense, he's going to be a MAJOR problem for the rest of the Horizon league the next two years. EQUUS GREVYI
You take what the defense gives and Detroit played a sagging zone all night. Drew was 7-15 from the field, 3-6 from 3 point and made both free throws taken. Hardly a struggled evening even though still battling a bad back. Tate and Walton really disappointed with limited contributions in a big league tournament game. Sharp and Faulkner took advantage of the zone and had big nights. The team really struggled with the perimeter defense. Understand the difficulty with Davis but too many other perimeter shooters left open.
