Vassy with 28 saves, goals by Paquette, Palate, and Callahan. The Bolts quit hitting in the second period and it almost cost them.

Whew! Nothing like making me sweat bullets in the last couple of minuets! :lol2:

Bolts out shot the Caps 16-4 until they scored their third goal at the 0:33 mark of the second period. From that point, I guess they thought they could just hang on.

They got out shot 26-6 over the final 39:27.

Vasilevskiy has absolutely saved their collective butts.

Side note: The refs really let them play. Which makes for good hockey.
