Manual girls and Trinity boys start the day off with wins in the 4x800M Relays.

Trinity and St. X both under eight minutes. Nice!

Henry Clay's Langston Jackson wins the 100M with a 10.56. Just a junior, wow.

Kaleb McDonald bests Rosalynd Hollinsgworth by 0.01 seconds in the 100M. Both girls just off of the All-Class state record.

Tates Creek girls 4x200M Relay team had the fastest qualifying time. DQ'd for a zone violation. That hurts, as they really needed the points to stay in the hunt for the team title.

Scoring through four events:

Girls - Central 19, Tates Creek 18, Manual 15, Sacred Heart 14, Male 14

Boys - Male 21, Henry Clay 20, Trinity 18, Ballard 13, St. X 11

Bryan Hudson (Scott Co. > Virginia Tech) starts off his day with a win in the Shot Put. A PR of 63-9.5 breaks the 3A record and Bryan is now the #4 KY all-time performer. Congrats!

Hudson has been one of the top discus throwers in the country for the past couple of years. Weather conditions are rough today, but he's capable of topping 200 ft. Go Bryan!

The boys 400M is scheduled at 12:55 PM.

The Tates Creek girls sprint relay squad comes back strong! Lady Commodores set the KY all-class meet record in the 4x100M Relay.

Graves Co. frosh Sophie Galloway has been one of the state's top jumpers/hurdlers for a few years now. She just won her first state title in the the Long Jump. Congrats Sophie!

Heavy rain has started in Lexington. Fingers crossed.
