Jets 3 Wild 2 (NHL)

NHL Playoffs Round 1 Western Conference.

Winnipeg was up 1-0 going into the 3rd period. Minnesota scored twice to take the lead, but 38 seconds after the second Wild goal, the Jets evened it back up at 2-2. Then with 7:13 left, Joe Morrow buried a slap shot for the winning goal.

This was a super fun game to watch. For the first half of this game, it seemed like a prize fight, where both teams were kind of feeling each other out. The second half of this game was intense and physical. Winnipeg survived Minnesota's best punches in the final 2 minutes and wins their first ever playoff game. The "whiteout" was a pretty cool background surrounding the ice.

Like MN, I tuned into this one instead of the blowout.
