Michael Fly New Florida Gulf Coast Head Coach

Dunk City has a new head man as longtime Assistant Coach Michael Fly has been hired to replace Joe Dooley that has moved on to Eastern Carolina.

Michael is originally from Fulton Kentucky and went to UK. While at UK he worked with Georgetown's team one season and was a video coordinator for the Bobcats and Florida State before being hired as an assistant.

On a personal note we lived next door to Michael and his parents when we lived in Fulton, Michael was around 12 or 13 then. Michael's dad poured concrete over half their entire back yard to make him a basketball court. That kid was out there every day shooting and working on ball handling.
