Just before the half, freshman Ben Durrough shoots and scores, putting the crew up 3-0 at the half. With 27 minutes remaining in the game, the Cougars get a free kick and score. Crusaders hang on with the 3-1 lead until the clock runs out.

Game was played at Calvary Christian. "Crusaders hang on" is just phrasing.

St. Henry will play Paintsville in the opening round at 1pm Saturday.

The tournament runs over the weekend at Capital View Park in Frankfort.

Blade Grass was out with an injury. Apparently it was a "cut". Hope he is healed by Saturday's game. But, let's be honest, and no offense to Blade Grass as he is a fine player indeed---but the Crusaders are hanging in there without him.
