Realreason
Went last night to my first state tournament, was a great experience, and plan on returning tonight. We parked in a small business that was selling spaces for $15 that was about 200 yards from Rupp. Is all the parking about that rate or can you park in the lots that have timed parking for less? Just wondering if I should do more hunting or just go back to where I was.

atm10
Streets are free, just have to walk a bit further most of the time. I went several years in a row and never paid for parking

denniscarguy
Parked in a city owned lot yesterday where you pay at the pay station. Says $4 for two hours but when you go to pay it is $20 for Sweet Sixteen!! Highway robbery!

Mustang
Saw on the front page of the H-Leader that they are proposing a 200 million dollar baseball park/hotel/parking garage complex on the site of the present lot opposite the top (south) entrance to Rupp Arena. If that goes up the cost of parking will skyrocket. I presently park in a print shop lot on the far side of that lot - Easy in/Easy out. 10 bucks for day games. $5.at night. plantmanky
Any event around Rupp is when I enjoy my perk of parking in the garage next to 5/3 building for free, anytime.

Jim Schue
There's lots of free parking around Rupp, if you're OK with walking a bit. I'm usually rushed getting there so I usually bite the bullet and pay $10. Since I don't pay to get into the arena I can live with the convenience on parking.
