  1. See above, my mistake. Central Louisville is what I'm talking about.:thumb:
  2. Boy, it's a tough day at work. Of course I'm talking about Central not Western. They have the toughest schedule in the state when you consider the competition versus size of school. I'm just not with it today.
  3. Western is so fast I listed them twice in case you missed them:laugh: sorry
  4. 2A & 4A are superior because? I'll give you 5A & 6A but shouldn't they be superior? Each level has their top tier and certainly you can argue that some of the classes are stronger but I believe that 3A has some very good teams. 1 A has a handfull and that's to be expected given the size of the schools that makeup that class. Danville, Bardstown, Corbin, etc. are good teams but are they better than Belfry, Breathitt, Western, Russell, Tilghman, Western, Somerset, etc. I don't think you can win that argument.
  5. Don't know their names but Belfry's or Bell County's O-Line coaches are probably the best by the continual success each program always have running the ball. The true sign of good line coaching.
  6. They could beat Breathitt but Belfry..........Don't think so.
  7. OUCH, UGLY, NASTY... desciptive words for this one. They all will fit. Bell 55- MS 6
  8. 7- Garrard County 5- Madison Central 3- LaFayette 2- Danville 1- Wayne County TB Garrard County
  9. Won't even be close. I don't care how talented the soph RB is, it is the line that will make the difference. RC 42 McC 6.
  10. Patriots are on of the best teams period this year and SL will have a time against them. Don't think it will be close.
  11. Mercer has too many quality athletes to fall too far. It is team chemistry that brings championships. The players, coaches, parents and fans need to relax and let this team grow up a little (experience wise) and you'll see a MAJOR difference. If MC has a little more fun in their game and continues to work hard, they will be in the hunt at the end of the season. If the infighting or blaming continues then "next year" will be the motto. Let the coaches and kids figure it out. They will.
  12. While I'm not a Somerset advocate, I believe that they will be in the hunt and give Belfry or anyone else all they want. Unless they fall flat on their faces, they are a seasoned team with alot of playoff experience. They will be in the regional final and if I'm correct it will be at SHS's field. It looks like Belfry will be their opponent and Somerset is a tough matchup because they have ALOT of skilled athletes. Cole is their premier player but they are loaded at fullback, other receivers, tight end and the QB will get better each game. If they were to upset Belfry, then Breathitt would go to SHS as well for the semi's. Somerset could make it to the carpet. IMO
  13. This is going to be a great game defensivevly IMO because both teams play hard nose defense but I'll go with Metcalfe because I heard their QB is a player. It will be a close one 14-7.
  14. You have that right and this win was a great one BUT, the Maroons are very hungry for some Warrior. Way to go SW on a fine upset. Not going to happen this week.
  15. Waited for this game all season and my Maroons will shock the world this week and win by 30!! Southwestern is improved but will make many mistakes and Hines & Muse will run circles around them. They can't keep up with the speed and they KNOW it. In a romp Pulaski 44- Southwestern 14 :dancingpa:dancingpa:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:
  16. Thanks for the continuation of this thread because it's rare that these kids get many kudos because all you hear about is running yards , receivers, QBs and touchdowns. These are the guys that get it done for the offense to get the ball and the newspaper ink.
  17. 7- Johnson Central 5- Williamsburg 3- Mercer 2- Lawrence Co. 1- Harlan TB- Johnson Central
  18. I thought the Regional final for Somerset if they make it was with Breathitt's District not Belfry. Anybody help me with that?
  19. Sad day for the Rebs as the Catholic Crunch win going away by 30 or so.
  20. It must be great for that community to rally around the Evarts boys! They have always played with intensity and deserve to go out in style.
  21. In Pulaski County.... Modern era- Pulaski- Cole Draughn, with Chris Muse coming up. Southwestern- Samuel Sexton (I agree) Somerset- Johnny Cain, Max Messamore or Tony Massey Massey was a QB right? I loved his defense even better at UK. Otherws have had more yardage but leadership is the key.
  22. Who would you least like to be in contact with on your respective teams? What makes them special?
  23. Newport Catholic, who else can put together so much talent from such a small area and group of kids to pick from? It's all in the coaching.
  24. Look out Jumpers...I think the Cards will be a little tougher than you might expect. However, I believe that the Bunnies are too quick for the red birds. If Somerset takes them out early it could be 34-13, but if the Cards hang around.....Somerset 28-Cards 22. Somerset needs to be turnover free to win big and cause some D stops.
  25. Whodey think they could have 87% of good folks picking the PC Maroons after two 2 win seasons? Funny how things change.
