Bottom line is the Maroons are growing up in a hurry and have worked hard. It is showing out on the field with their hard play and the athletes they have in the skilled positions are going to continue to "shock" people. South Laurel is next and if Southwestern can beat them badly, maybe a running clock?

Time to Rally Let's get SHS on WTVQ 36 "Game of the Week" so that the station will come down and cover games in Somerset, PC, and head up the road to Lincoln County. Pulaski, Southwestern & Somerset fans need to come together (that's right!!) and help SHS in the Gridiron Blitz with WTVQ 36. Each week the station covers a "Game of the week" 5 games are up for voting and this week SHS has a good chance on being highlighted. You can vote on line with the following link every hour until 5PM Thursday. Why help SHS? If they come to Somerset, they will only be less than a mile from PC vs. Mercer and a good likelyhood they will cover some of it. Winston Hines for Pulaski had a MONSTER return game against Somerset in Week 1, a Touchdown an 2 or 3 long returns deep into SHS's territory.

Teams to remove after this week- Pikeville Trinity Rockcastle Frankfort NCC -gone already Male

In a blowout, Lex Cath 52- Pikeville 14 (2nd half points) with a running clock early in the 3rd. Pikeville shows heart and scores 2 in the 3rd & 4th periods. Ends game with their heads held high and poised for a long run in the playoffs in the Mountains, probably a Regional champ!

Don't think they can hold Mercer to 14...it would be nice however. Look out Chris this bunch will be going after you hard, then key on Winston. You better be ready to strap it on tight because you'll take some shots. Count on it. You can air it out a little more to loosen them up.

Does Garrard County have a strong O-Line? I read that the 22 points were from a real strong RB with tons of speed, but they had to pass it to the outside to get him free. The middle of the SHS D is getting better.

Jumper Dad no offense but Somerset's JV could score 50 on Jackson. I think Somerset's D will be improved each week and that doesn't go well for their district opponents because you have to keep the ball out of Somerset's Offense unless you scored on them at will like Pulaski. I don't see that happening again to SHS this year.
