Jeff Brown has done an outstanding job at Morgan County. Morgan County is not big, but they are very athletic. They have some outstanding young talent as well. Freshman Faith Slone played a lot last season and Freshman Brittany Stamper both look to be a big help for Eagle. Lara Hembree shot 42% from behind the arc last season also. I was amazed at last year's pre-season rankings having them 8th or 9th...maybe they will be ranked there again this season. Leslie Eagle is without a doubt the 16th regions #1 player.

The Musketeers may have found the right coaching combo to build a youth laden program back to the region's elite. They certainly have a talented spohomore class.

I would say this may the first of a run of three region titles and possibly a state title. Very talented team with one of the best coaches in the state. I would say that is a great combo.

By looking at all the new facilities Raceland has on its campus it looks like they have a little bigger budget than Russell has now.
