Congrats to the Red Devils on the win. Boyd County looked a lot better than I thought they would. Coach McGlone tried a little trickery near the end of the 1st half, and it nearly back fired, and would have had the Boyd Co. receiver not dropped a wide open pass in the end zone as time expired at the end of the half. That could have made a big difference in the game.

Congratulations to the Red Devils on a very good win. This was a lot closer game than the score indicates. Boyd is a very good football team with an outstanding QB. A.J. Cordell was exceptional also for Russell throwing two TD passes in key situations. Great game A.J. Congratulations to both teams on playing a very hard fought game.

1st down under a minute left deep in their own end, knelt down. 2nd down, got cute tried to sneak a pass out there, stopped the clock incomplete, no gain on 3rd and Boyd took a TO, botched the punt attempt on 4th, gave Boyd the ball inside the 10 with a first down and 2.9 on the clock. Boyd QB scrambled found a kid in the endzone, he simply couldn't hold on to it.

They took a knee on first down. Then attempted a pass that was incomplete. Then a run that failed. Then they lost the ball on forth down on there own 15 yard line with 2 seconds on the clock. Boyd attempted a pass that was in the receivers hands and he dropped it. End of half.

Congrats to Russell, needed a game like this to keep them honest. Boyd Co. played a good game but all they have is Wilson need to use there running backs more. Boyd Co. is starting to become a solid program. Next stop is the Comets.

Congratulations to Russell! It sounds like Boyd Co. is a lot better this year.

Boyd improved a ton from week 1. If they wouldn't have had so many dropped passes they could have actually won this game. Their QB Wilson is the one of the best players around this area. Very impressive. If Boyd plays like this the rest of the season they'll win a lot games.

Russell was Russell. Very good team, the best area team I think. Should have another good season, but will have problems when they play a good passing team. Boyd had receivers wide open all night against their secondary. IF Russell fixes that they will be tough to beat.
