Is there a 16th region thread someone could start?

The Lady Saints of St. Patrick will be force in the 10th this year and for several years after, I'am thinking Hoosiers. It will not be that easy anymore!

With the loss of only one senior, this will be the deepest Lady Saint team ever. I know this won't impress alot of you but Coach Douglas will not be afraid to play anyone on her bench.

St. Patrick not only returns everyone but Beth Nolder (congrats Beth on a fine carreer) but are very Talented 9th through 12th on next years squad. Another very small school to watch next year will be Deming young but with Talent. We all know a year can make big difference in a young persons life, I can't wait to see who has been out there doing the work. 1. Montgomery 2. all the rest. good luck

Congrats first to coach Buser on a good career, it could never be easy being in the shadows of the mega giant boys team. Congrats now to coach Butcher, your now in a basketball loving communitiy that may be the craziest in the State as far as love for the game. The Mason Co. middle schools are loaded with young talented girls. With that said the St. Patrick lady Saints will be a force, with a feeder system that has developed some excepetional fine young players and a very dedicated coach. I think the true measure of a great athlete is how much better they make there teammates look and feel about theimselves in a game situation. I would take Miller.

In the semis it was Deming over Brossart by 3 and St Patrick over Mason Co. by 17. The Championship game was closely contested with Deming winning by 3. Congraulation Lady Black Devils I know all of Robertson Co. are proud of you and congraulations to our Lady Saints whose grit and determination make us proud as well! One other note, these were the two smallest schools in it.

St. Patrick 44 Pendleton Co. 43 in OT

St. Patrick's freshman team is undefeated but will be missing there leading scorer in Brooke Mosler (broken hand). The Saints will still field a pretty good team and will be a tough opponent for anyone in it.

As a St. Patrick parent in attendance last night I was much impressed with the M. C. Lady Royals, best team by far I've seen this year. Miss Chambers is all that, a combination of size, speed, strength, a defensive ball hawker and a team oriented player. The other two seniors (Cline and Litzinger) are very skilled players as well. I wish the Lady Royals well the rest of the season as they have the talent to go a long way. With that said enjoy this season Mason Co. The Saints have alot young talented players who in the next few years will turn this Region upside down. GO SAINTS!

What you were missing about the Fieldhouse was its History. I could not begin to tell you about all the great teams, players and great games that this high school palace has hosted. But on the Mason Co. side four names come to mind Ronny Lyons, Deron Feldhaus, Chris Lofton and now Darius Miller. Not a bad start huh!

The Middle School School State tournament has been going on since 2003 and I believe it will only grow. The kba people do a great job hosting girls basketball.

Yes gillispie07 the St. Patrick middle school Lady Saints finished third in the middle school tourney losing to eventual champ Lebanon from Marion Co. The Saints defeated Whitley Co. Friday night, beat Southern Storm from Lexington and Madison Co. Saturday. The Lebanon team was an awesome collection of talent led by a point guard named Epps. Yes Anthony's daughter. There where so many good teams and great bastketball games it was a great thrill for a basketball junkie like me. You can see the brackets at playkba.com. I'm not sure why other 10th region team didn't play in it, I do know that Mason and Fleming have very good middle school teams. Finally props has got to go to Coach Douglas, what a wonderful coaching job and also to her girls whos great team efort left me in awe!
