Kelsey will get through this with a strong famliy and a very fine community behind her.

Not uncommon for a school the size of St. Patrick. But with that said. I believe that coaches play the fitigue thing to far. Most of these kids could run all day. Especially these kids at St. Patrick.

If the Saints 5' 11" freshmen center had been 100% it would have been a totally different game. Relegated to spot duty because of a knee scope in Nov. she's just now knocking the dust off. She is a force in the middle.

Congrats Young Lady Saints on your regional championship. These girls for the most part have been playing together since the 3rd grade and it shows in how well they play together. It is a tribute to there coaching.

That's a bated question, lets talk about Bracken Co. vs. St. Patrick.

Nice win Lady Saints! When they come with that pressure for 32 min. they are difficult team to deal with. Nice win also for the JV, with only one soph. (very talented) and the rest freshmen and 8th graders the future is indeed very bright for Maysville St. Patrick Lady Saints basketball.

Watch out for Marion Co. girls in the next few years. I watched these young ladies in the 8th grade open state tourney in Lex. Dec. 2007. Now freshmen, these girls (if they all stay together) will be a dominant force in Ky. Girls high school basketball. They are led by a point guard named Epps (yes Anthony's daughter) and she may be only the 3rd best player on the team.

Another good win for this very quick Lady Saints Team. Very dark(horse) or not they are alot of fun to watch play. At Cov. Holy Cross Wed., Clark Co. at home Fri.

The girls rating the state was in the Lex. H/L this morning.

The Maysville/Mason Co. game was truly one of the great rivalries of Ky. high school sports. The intensity was that of any rival but the event itself was something to behold. It is the reason Mason Co. a school of a about 800 to 900 students is considered a KY. State power. A Love for the Game! Mason Co. rivals 1) Fleming Co. (closest similar sized school) 2) Clark Co. (also basketball rich school) 3) Lex. Catholic (another state power) 4) Montgomery Co. (stole our event!) 5) Scott Co. (some great games between these 2)

Final

Our Kids wouldn't dare have there cell phones on during a practice, its all about discipline. As for parents attending practice, I for one wouldn't want to hold back the development of my child and her teammates. How could a Coach instill the discipline needed for the over all good of the team if mom or dad are watching? Coaches are regular people and for the most part do care what you think of them. At some point durig the practice the coaches need to make corrections on mistakes made, this is something needs to stay in the gym between the team and coaches. 2 basic questions to ask. Do you trust your Coach (I do)? Do you trust your child (again I do)?

Good win Lady Saints! Varsity in action Friday vs Paris at Paris in the Ky. Bank Shootout. Should be a great game. These Lady Saints are a special group of Kids.

Its the first of possibly 3 or 4 meetings between these two fine teams. I will be there. Go Lady Saints!
