St Pat out hussled them from start to finish and scrapped and clawed their way back from an 8 point deficit in the 4th quarter to get the win. Scott had a great third quarter and turned a 1 point halftime deficit into an 6-8 point lead. In the end way too many turnovers for Scott and could not seal the deal.

Nice win Lady Saints! When they come with that pressure for 32 min. they are difficult team to deal with. Nice win also for the JV, with only one soph. (very talented) and the rest freshmen and 8th graders the future is indeed very bright for Maysville St. Patrick Lady Saints basketball.

St. Pat is good this year, but sadly we're all playing for the runner-up trophy. Montgomery is just way too tough for anyone in the region, IMO.

I am not sure about you but I think the object is to play to win no matter how tough the opponent is. If your playing for a runners - up trophy then thats all you will ever get. I am not sure if the Lady Saints can beat Montgomery county but I can gaurentee you one thing they wont be playing them to come in second.

I am not sure about you but I think the object is to play to win no matter how tough the opponent is. If your playing for a runners - up trophy then thats all you will ever get. I am not sure if the Lady Saints can beat Montgomery county but I can gaurentee you one thing they wont be playing them to come in second.

 

I'm not saying to go in knowing you have no chance. I just dont think anyone in the 10th can beat them unless they play terrible.

My two cents worth for what its worth, yes the Lady Saints or a couple of other teams on a given night that play a good 4 quarters as good as they can play can beat anyone in the 10th region. Montgomery Co. has a great team and will be hard to beat, but it can be done. Any night any team can be off and be upset at this level.

If the Lady Saints play like they have in a couple games they can compete with anyone. But it will have to be there best performance of the year
