biteyainthebutt Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 Is there help on the way? If so who are the kids?
eccheer Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 Elliott County's got T. Knipp, C. Nichols in the soph. class who are doing well now, but I also believe that J. Ison (also a soph) will be factor as he gains experience and confidence in the next year or two.
oldrambler Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 I beliieve that in the future you will be hearing the name Taylor Lacks, this young lady is a freshman point guard for the Raceland Lady Rams. Very good player with a ton of potential.
syndromeX Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 Mykal Farris (9th) and Madison Jones (8th) of Ashland
NorthernNorse Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 Madie Kirk (6th grade) and Alicia Gunter (8th grade) are going to be excellent basketball players. They helped lead Fairview to their first ever OVC small school conference middle school championship.
ColonelMike Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 The entire 8th Region !!!!! :lol::lol::lol:
biteyainthebutt Posted January 20, 2009 Author Posted January 20, 2009 Mykal Farris (9th) and Madison Jones (8th) of Ashland Kayla Day of Rose Hill. See all three of these kids play. They are going to be good.
Larry Bud Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 Lauren Tibbs is a sophomore at Scott High School in Northern Kentucky (10th region) She just scored her 1000th career point this afternoon. 6'3" post player with a very bright future. She is averaging 25 points a game and 11 rebounds a game.
Sportster Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 The entire 8th Region !!!!! :lol::lol::lol: ColonelMike, Watch out for that pointguard 8th. grader at Oldham Co. , Jessica Leanhart #21 on the JV team and she also #12 on the freshman team.....:thumb:
Intentional Foul Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 Kaylin (?) Gamble of Ashland is only an 8th grader.

GatorFan Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 Some of the most exciting players to come along in the 8th region are coming up now in the 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th grades...The next few years in this region are going to be a lot of fun!!!!! You got that right! :notworthy:
PRESSROW Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 Mason County's 7th,8th, and 9th is flat loaded. Two freshman and a 7th grader start varsity, with the JV comprised mostly of freshman. The freshman team is mainly middle school players. Very young squad that is only gonna get better in due time.
REH5 Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 6-1 Fr. Peyton Hisel (Tates Creek) and 5-11 8th grader Ashton Feldhaus (Madison Central) are improving every day and should star in the future. Another promising young player in the 11th Region is 5-10 7th grader Tereka Guyn (Scott County).
The Professor Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 Owsley County has freshman 5'11 center/forward Peyton Wright. She is averaging around 20 ppg and 12rpg. Being an Owsley fan I'm somewhat biased, but I think she is the best freshman in the 14th region. Unbelievable potential. Smooth as silk, and a lefty too.
