Sounds like CovCath struggled at the charity stripe? Hope that doesn't become an ongoing issue.

Mason Co was up by as many up 25 in the game. The Royals could have won by more, but give credit to Cov Cath. Cov Cath has a nice team. I think they will take the 9th region.

Sounded like CovCath was ice cold in the third quarter.

CC was the best cheering section by far. The best cheer was when the sang a song by the Backstreet Boys.

From what I heard from my brother at the game it was the biggest crowd he's ever seen at a MC game in a long time, or if ever.

For some reason, playing CovCath seems to always bring out the other teams fans.

Mason County starts the 3rd quarter with a 19-2 run and coasts from there. CovCath wasn't in the game after the big run. They did chip away at the lead, but I don't think it ever got out of double digits.

 

24 and 12 for Darius; he's validating his candidacy as Mr. Basketball. He absolutely locked up #21 for CovCath; who had 7 points on the night, with some of those coming when Darius was getting breathers.

 

Good minutes from Jackson Tolle and Phil Barner tonight off the bench.

Things to work on for the Royals:

 

Eliminating offensive rebounds and back tips by the opposition.

 

Killer instinct, stomp on teams when they're down. Sometimes tougher than it sounds I guess after expending so much energy (like tonight's 19-2 run during the first 6 minutes of the third quarter).

 

Watch the runouts. Got caught a couple of times early in the game; then seemed to fix it.

 

 

Loved the defense for the first 22 minutes tonight!
