10th Region / 39th district

Featured Replies

Who are the favorites now in the 10th region and specifically the 39th district with the new coaches, injured players and holes to fill due to graduation?

I was thinking Bracken Co. would have been the favorite but with their injuries and losing another for relocating I dont know anymore. It could be St. Patrick has the edge. Its my understanding that they had an excellant summer. Mason Co. lost alot in the big 3. I just think they will be too young this year as well as getting used to a new system under a new coach. Augusta will continue to improve.

I too wanted to give the Lady Bears the edge, but we'll wait and see.

Young Lady Royals have a lot to learn,But watch for them or the lady Saints to take it with all the goings on at Bracken. As for the 10th its almost a lock for Montgomery as there loaded,GRC could challenge them.

Mason Co will still be the top team untill someone wins the District title. I think Mason Co has won around 5 or so district titles in a row or more.

They should in a district with 3 Class A schools.

My top three for the region would be GRC, Scott High, and Montgomery Co. in that order.

Montgomery Co is loaded again!! with great players like Prewitt, Lee, Jehlik, Webb, Thompson, Colliver and a ton on talent that is JV/V Garland, Taul and more!!! They are loaded deep 12th-middle school and should remain a solid team for years to come!!

No doubt Montgomery would have to top the list. An extremely deep and talented team. I see Clark as the number two pick. After that a few run together. Paris, Bracken ( even with the losses to injuries and transfer ), and Harrison. Think St. Pat will post several wins but they are just not very deep. First time in several years that I can't realistically put Mason in the top five. I'd keep an eye on Bracken though. All those going's on will have a very positive effect in my opinion.

With the loss of only one senior, this will be the deepest Lady Saint team ever. I know this won't impress alot of you but Coach Douglas will not be afraid to play anyone on her bench.

Bracken County lost C Chelsea Ahrens and G Jaclyn Crawford to ACL tears and G Brittany Burden transferred to Manchester!

All 3 would have seen significant Varsity minutes for the Lady Bears...

I love my Cards. but I am a realistic person and I would put Montgomery Co as the #1 pick....then GRC second.

Sorry to hear about that. Isn't Ahrens a senior?
