Not to many people on here like to show these teams love. These teams fall of the map unless playing a bigger program.

Ok. Bracken Co. played very hard and caused some trouble with there press. There struggle rebounding the ball would probably be there biggest problem and they dont shoot the ball well enough to make up for it. Lewis Co. is not a big team by any means and has there own trouble rebounding the ball.

This CPA team must be a good team to hold Mason Co. to 68 points. Did Mason show any signs of fatigue after playing a pressing team last night. There startes should have been pretty fresh after sitting most of the 2nd half last night. I wouldnt think fatigue would be a factor for a team of Mason Co. calibur but Im suprised they didnt score more. They did shoot over 50% though.

Not official stats. Scoring was pretty even for Lewis Co. Witten and Smith probably had double figures but not sure if anybody else did. 11 (name?) shot the 3 ball pretty well and I'm guessing somewhere around 15. Both teams turned the ball over a lot and Lewis Co. probably out-rebounded Bracken. Sorry, these stats arent to detailed, but it gives you a little idea. And Coach Fite would have love to beat his high school but Brackens gonna have trouble beating teams. Give Lewis Co. a little bit of credit.

Its off topic, but how long will the Royals spend in Hawaii? Will they only be down there for the days they are playing basketball or will they have a chance to enjoy themselves and relax? Focus on basketball, but take some time off. This might be the only opportunity for these boys to see Hawaii, so hopefully they will have an opportunity to actually see it. The Scott High game Lewis Co. had a poor shooting night just as they did the first 3 games of the season. Lewis Co. has improved there shooting in just a couple of weeks and I look for it to keep getting better. Ashland played a good game and caused a lot of problems with there traps. I think this was a good, quality win by Ashland. Good luck to both teams on Saturday night.

The good team was in 04. They got beat by ashland in the semifinals in triple overtime. Probably the best game ive witnessed, Tyler Clark was astounding, they just couldnt pull off the win.

They will be waiting 1000 years to play another home game? haha:D This is a long break for the fans of Mason Co. to see their team at home again.

You beat me to what I was going to say. Winning and losing is important when tournament time comes. Having your boys make progress throughout the season is what makes a good coach. I like to think of the season as scrimmages preparing yourself for the tournament. I like to see our teams win during the season but if they lose, then hopefully they take something from that game that will make them better.

Both teams come out upset after losing their previous game. This game will be very uptempo. I hope the refs will let both teams play to an extent. A game isnt fun when a foul is being called every 15 seconds. Game is close at the half, but Ashland pulls away at the end. Ashland 76 Lewis Co. 65

He did this again last night. I'm not sure he was 15 feet out but he was at least 5 feet which still interfered with the game. The floor at Lewis Co. is big enough where the seats on the bench can be moved back to have some walking room so he has no excuse. Even though he might get a T, I don't think Russell can hang with Fairview. Fairview by 22.

Seems as if everyone in Rose Hill should be praying for a healthy season. A two-man team really struggles if one goes down. Not saying one of the boys is going to get injured, but injuries happen. A sprained ankle in practice can keep somebody out for a couple weeks. Hope both stay healthy but for Rose Hills sakes, it seems they need to try and develop a third and maybe fourth player and then they could be considered contenders.

Both teams played hard. Hall for Fairview is a good player but seems to force a lot. Lewis Co. did a much better job shooting the ball and forced turnovers in the first half. Fairview made their free throws down the stretch where Lewis seemed to struggle throughout the game. I thought there were way to many fouls called. When Enix (20 who guarded Hall while in the game) breathed on Hall he was called for the foul. He is a great defender and wasn't able to display that on the bench. Not blaming the refs, Lewis Co. was deflated after the three and Fairview took advantage.

Fairview is a good ball team and i dont expect to see the lions pull this one out of the gutter. Ill take fairview, in a low scoring contest 60-35

I'm going to go with Valley 75 - 60. Ashland is very good but i seen Valley play in state last year and i was really impressed.

Well, i do believe he will end up playing a Mississippi State, but i sure would like to see him play for the Cats.

Totally agree, the lions need someone to step up. Frankie Witten has a sprained rotator cuff and hes having a hard time shooting the ball. Last week against East, Smith had a break out game with 20 points. I believe hes going to have to do this more often for the Lions to gain some wins.

This is the first Mason Co. game I've watched this year and thought they were really impressive. I want to see anybody who can challenge Darius for POY. He has the ability to take a game over anytime he wishes. Mason will have to do a better job on the boards the rest of the year. And I thought this game was very physical. It seemed there were a lot of fouls not called. Im not sure if all of Masons games are this physical but I thought a lot of fouls were not called. JMO. Great atmosphere for basketball.

Lewis beats Greenup 53-48 last night.

There are 3 players from Lewis Co. who should be considered. Frankie Witten, Terence Smith, and Jesse Enix all can have big games. Witten and Smith are the best scorers for Lewis Co. and Enix does everything well. He does a good job rebounding, defending, and has become a much better scorer this year. Those three should be considered for the 5th spot and maybe even higher.

What a matchup June Buchannan and Elliot would be in the sweet sixteen.
