The Royals jump out to a 22-11 first quarter lead and are never threatened.

Four Royals in double figures. Middleton 19, Setty 19 and 5 rebounds, Miller 12, 7 rebounds and 4 assists, King 12 and 6 rebounds. Tolle with 4 and Barner with 2 to round out the Mason County scoring.

Have a great trip to the Aloha state!

This CPA team must be a good team to hold Mason Co. to 68 points. Did Mason show any signs of fatigue after playing a pressing team last night. There startes should have been pretty fresh after sitting most of the 2nd half last night. I wouldnt think fatigue would be a factor for a team of Mason Co. calibur but Im suprised they didnt score more. They did shoot over 50% though.

Congrats to the Royals and represent KY well in Hawaii! Goodluck!

CPA was a good team they had Z. Mason who scored 30 is being heavely recruited by Florida. He was a stud.Mason played well just good competion.More a little later.

I am sure Mason Co didn't have to work too hard to beat Scott High's press on Friday.

This is a good win for Mason County. CPA was undefeated coming into this game and they are a very good team. They compete in the AA division in the state of Tennessee and are coached by former Vanderbilt guard Drew Maddux. They have several players being recruited by division 1 schools. Zackeus Mason is their best player. He is about 6'5" and has been offered from numerous major schools. This past summer the junior forward broke a backboard at a local high school in Nashville. He is a very good HS player.

By the box score it looks like Mason County got out to a good start and led for the entire game. Congrats to the Royals!!

Was this game in Pikeville and if so why? Where did Mason County fly out of to Hawaii, Cincinnati or Lexington? Seems like a lot of traveling and hurrying up in order to fly out on Sunday.
