Actually that seems to be when he gets into the games. Seems to have fallen off the radar screen a bit. Other than punting, it's been late game. Or I just haven't noticed him. There is a lot of talent to spread the ball around. On Bardo, no problem there. He was really blocking but did make one good run late in the game. Had a few more early. That boy's speed is just unbelievable. Would love to see him at the next level say at a DB or Safety. Maybe returning the ball!

All this talk about who won in the past is just that. I would be one to be concerned with CovCath. If you listen to the likes of OG, then this team is ready for anything that comes it's way. Coach Wirth has these boys believing. And with Robinson back in the mix, then who knows. I guess a big question is what's going on with Schaffer? Since everybody is mum on the situation, then one would guess that there is some question whether he plays or not. Injury???? Add to the mix that it is Senior Day for the Colonels Sat., emotions will riding very high. Can anyone confirm Senior Day. This might be a pick game. Heck CovCath is riding a 4 game winning streak. You know Highlands beat St. X a few weeks ago. So who knows!

HHS defense is good but according to my sources in BlueColonel land, they are much much improved from last year. I know, you have to ask the question, "how could they not be"? This year is the new and improved version. Wirth has the boys believing they can do anything. They are on a 4 game winning streak. They very well end up 7 and 3 right. I mean who knows. I did see a T shirt that proclaims "Back to Dominance"!!!!! Wow! That's a bold statement right there. Oh, and I think HHS wins this one but won't be as bad as last year!

Everyday I drop my daughter at Notre Dame Academy, I look over there and see a brand new School with a Million dollar indoor Olympic training center(thanks Bill H.) and field turf and no lights. Hey, I say keep it as it is then. Use the money for other things if you can get it. The tree may be a little bare at the moment. I just hope I'm not forced again to give at the Sunday plate to support it. I think my dollars should stay in my school District. Sorry off on a whole other tangent.

I agree with this one. But the rest of your "wish list", are you serious? Improving Library, uh do kids even know what a Card Catalog is anymore? More computers? Maybe they can be like Cinn. Moeller and get a corporate sponsor and help pay for laptops for everybody. A new Gym. What's wrong with the old one? Talk about not changing Tradition. Nothing like a sold out CovCath/Holy Cross game in Feb. to turn the floor into a ice skating rink. Seriously, their Gym is fine. Improvements to the Complex in General. Now that's a laugher there. When it's against a very average NCC squad, then for moral and confidence, I agree with it being a must win. Loose this game and one wonders what they will do against Dixie. Or better yet Highlands. Oh and it's Homecoming. Someone must have known this a gimme game.

I think you are confusing yourself. Here's why. Mueller won't pull his starters even if it's a blowout for X. The JV boys aren't seeing the field IMO. Either way.

This is like the perfect storm. Every week, CovCath gets a team that is worse than the previous week and they keep winning. They are in the middle of a great run. The schedulers that be look like genious's. Question is will they be able to keep it going against Dixie and HHS? CovCath will crush NewCath by 28 at least.

Going out on a limb here and saying because they don't have the kids and they don't want to be embarrassed. There is no way Beechwood can stay with CovCath. They already showed them they can't on the Varsity level so why in the world do they think they could on JV. Maybe next year.

I see where some people would see HHS offense as being high powered but has it really happened yet this year? It definately has the weapons so hopefully for them, they fine tune this week. That's if Boone allows them to. I'm sure they will have a lot to say about it.

Sounds like a judgement on your part. Was standing right there and the Beechwood player was clearly trying to advance the ball. If there is fault, the refs should have step in and stopped the play. And I don't mean by blowing a whistle which they were slow doing that on that play. They should protect that kid without a helmet and stepped in and stopped the play. No way should he have been ejected let alone a penalty.

Now c'mon, that's just being silly. Well, maybe after that first place vote was taken away this week, then maybe you're right. Need to get that vote back. :banana:
