Final Score!! :thumb:

GO ROCKS!! :dancingpa

I just got to listen to the tail end of the broadcast.

How did the Rocks look across the board? Was this a big improvement or did Manual fall on their face?

Still struggled to move ball. Xavier Thomas out after 1st quarter- not sure if he was hurt but backup RB Jack Tencza did a good job with probalby over 100 yards

Didn't allow Frederick to throw much but he had two nice throws for long gains. I bet he didn't throw over 10 times all game.

Defense gave up yards but strengthened near goal line to keep the shut out.

Nick Robertson kicked 2 field goals (49, about 27) and put every kickoff in end zone- He's a weapon!

If you don't score you can't win, and if you don't score you can't expect your defense to hold on for the whole game.

Manual does some things okay but this game revealed the glaring lack of talent on the Crimson offensive side of the ball. The only speed we have at all is in our qb and he isn't even that fast.

Trinity is not as powerful as they have been in the past but they are still plenty good enough to challenge anyone for the championship. Even if the passing game is a shell of itself they are still very strong in every other area to be a problem for anyone.

Congrats Trinity

Big crowd at the stadium tonight. Rocks improving. Hats off to Manual.

Thanks, Rowdy, y'all have a nice team. I was impressed with #83 Mosser.

Frederick was 4 for 6 with 115 yards and Tencza carried 23 times for 116 yards. Kragthorpe did not dress tonight.

Some improvement especially in the second half. Probably the fewest passes Trinity has thrown in a game since Lord knows when. T's place kicker, Robertson, is listed at 6'6" and his 49-yard FG was good by about 5 yards. He can really pound the ball.....also had a 53-yard punt on the fly. No offense to the Crimsons, but I do not believe they were nearly as good as T's opponent last week.

Remember, Rock fans, patience is a virtue.

About what I expected. Trinity progressed well in this game and are starting to look pretty good. This just shows me that even when "struggling" or "down", Trinity can't be contained.

We'll take the victory and keep putting the pieces together. The next two weeks are going to be brutal but we'll show up. Let the Tigers keep thinking they have the total package again this year. Go Rocks!

Who is saying St.X has the total package? Gimme a break! Nice win Rocks.

I think coach Betty better keep an eye on his kicker. Kid is such a weapon coach Kragthorpe might try and sneak him into a Louisville game this season. Wow! He's tall and lanky and just booms it. I was in the end zone and the 49-yard FG was seven or eight yards through the uprights.

Trinity restores order this week.

It's a process. One step after the other. Rocks have been dealt some adversity - not too mention "young team" just starting to find itself. True test is how we bounce back. As Tcjbct (or whatever) said..."patience".

Good win.:thumb:

Yeah but they have to go to the Pit next week to play Elder. Tall order!!!!
