Not suprised by the score. Highlands is a real good team.

From reading all of the updates that Beechwood plays a lot of young guys. The future is bright in the next couple of years.

Congrats Highlands!

BW will be a force in 1A this year... best of luck to them in winning state.

Beechwood has reinvented themselves! The team we saw tonight is not the same one that took a drubbing at the hands of Dixie last week. Look out Class A, because the Tigers are going to be a factor!

As for the Birds, if they play the way they did tonight, they may lose some games this year. In fact, the Dixie game has me quite concerned right now. Imo, some big improvements are needed for this team to go all the way.

Congrats on the win. Tigers showed a lot of moxy tonight. Birds defense needs to get its act together in a hurry. Too many missed tackles and holes that you could drive a truck through.

I think the Birds will rise to the challenge when they play Dixie. Don't be too concerned, BF, Dale will get them on track. :thumb:

No doubt this defense will be in big trouble if they do not improve. The St. X game could get very ugly.....

I agree in regards to the defense they will not stand a chance against the size of St X. It seems to me that the ends need to contain and way to many missed tackles with the entire squad. A good team is going to eat the clock and play possession ball. I would be interested to know what the 3rd down conversation rate was for BW? In regards to the offense, I think Dale was trying to kick start the passing game as we will need to be able to throw the ball. Let's be honest if AC had more touches it could have been ugly. No doubt Highlands was in control throughout, but if you have that type of weapon you have to use it. Like I said last week Streeter needs some work. He might have speed on a slight frame but again he shows his stone hands. Not to mention a missed block that could have been a lot worse for Bardo. AC on the other hand is very impressive and don't ask me ask the BW fans that were around us. What is the early dx on Huddleston? We saw the arm/shoulder in a sling. On a side note, I will say that BW fans were very knowledgable and also very nice folks. The only grief we got was the face mask subsequent personal foul. No doubt about the face mask, those of you closer to the action was their whistle? From my end it looked like the boyl continued to run and a Highlands player tried to make a tackle. Again I was not close to the action.

St. X, yes. Dixie, no.

St. X will be a beast for everybody but Trinity this year. Highlands will be Highlands and I expect when playoff time comes Beechwood will be Beechwood.

Cincinnati St. X......

Hats off to Beechwood they didn't quit. Beechwood exposed some HHS weaknesses in the 2nd half. Beechwood spread them out and really ran HHS's draw or QB right back at the Birds and connected on 20 yard runs, 4 or 5 times. HHS will not be able to give that up to the power teams they have upcoming.

The Highlands speed and polished passing game will be too much for anyone in NKY and most teams in KY. But again they have to patch some things on D in order to play with the power teams they have upcoming.

Hats of to Nick Butten he must have read this board last week when everyone said HHS needs a receiver to step up. He was a one man show tonight and I thought the player of the game.

From what I saw tonight it looks like Simon Kenton should be number one in NKY come next week..This defense has a long long way to go..:puke: You have Beechwood running the ball down their throats with 180 pound lineman..This team needs to wake up!!!!

Maybe we'll get Rash's vote this week.:D
