Walton Verona/Bishop Brossart Predictions
I will go with this. WV is better fundamentally than Brossart is talented. Which at this point is not very!

Bellevue/Ludlow Predictions
Thats my pick!!! (post 1):fight:

ICN 6 Football Schedule
It would be a mistake not to air the Bellevue/Dayton game. All to often, the little schools are overlooked based on their size. This game is as competitive and hard hitting as you will find. Lots of history go into this rivalry. It's one of the oldest in the state. Besides bragging rights, how close the communities are, now you have the "Battle for the Paddle". What else could make this game more appealing? ICN6--you would be wise to keep this game. Can Charlie pull some strings!

Bellevue/Ludlow Predictions
Not neccessarily. If you are already conceding Beechwood as first in the district, then Bellevue, Ludlow and Dayton will all battle for second. These teams should have no trouble with Brossart.
-
Bellevue 35 Paris 13
Teipel is good. But pound for pound and ability Ricky is better. The difference in the two really comes down to who is blocking for them.
-
Bellevue/Ludlow Predictions
The Ludlow Panthers pay a visit to Gilligan Stadium to take on the Bellevue Tigers. Ludlow is coming off a win against Carroll Co. while Bellevue takes to the home field for the first time this season. I'll start it off with Bellevue 34 Ludlow 6

Bellevue 35 Paris 13
Tigers looked really good. Paris played a tough game and did not quit. Bellevue was very physical all night long on both sides of the ball. Buckler IMO is the best back in NKY Class A. Barrett was solid and the line played very well. The defense turned in another solid effort. Little Davey Combs had several big plays including an interception return. I agree with Savior, Got to love the fight song.

Bellevue/Paris Predictions
^^^I may be wrong on this, but I suspect it has something to do with the possibility of major injuries that could sidetrack a very promising baseball future. Although, I heard he will play basketball and their is potential for injury there as well. I am sure he would have made the gridiron Tigers very potent.

Bellevue 18 Newport 6
I did not think the defense was that impressive. Newport put together a lond TD drive and had another stopped inside the 5. Seems they still have a long way to go IMO.
-
Bellevue/Paris Predictions
Bellevue comes off a win against Newport. Paris enters the game having dropped last week to Mason Co. in a very hard fought game.
-
Bellevue 18 Newport 6
Finally, some press. Sounds like Newport really wore down. Hats off to the Tigers.
-
Henry Co. 40 Ludlow 0
How did Montooth play?

Bellevue 18 Newport 6
Way to go Tigers. That 1st win of the season is always an important one. :thumb:

Bellevue/Newport Predictions
:thumb: Pound for pound, he is a tough as they come.

Bellevue/Newport Predictions
Bellevue will win in a tight, hard fought contest. Yes, I agree that Newport will be ready this time around. Last years over sight of the Tigers started a long year for the Wildcats. The Tigers know that Newport will try to avenge last years loss. Bellevue better be ready and come to play this week.

Bellevue names Mike Herald as Boys' Head Coach!
I would have to agree with that.
-
Brossart Progress
I disagree. Especially with the inexperience that Brossart has on their roster, more time is needed. Even if the coaches are organized, you are still limiting the time that kids have to learn and get used to football.

Bellevue Coach
Former assistant Tom Sorrell will be the girls new coach.
-
Bellevue's Field
Drove over the 471 bridge this weekend, and the field is looking really good. Keep up the good work! It is something to be proud of.
-
2008 Newport
You are correct! They were not prepared to lose to Bellevue. They had the size, speed, and overall talent. Perhaps, they took Bellevue foregranted (blame that one on the coaches). Then the coaches ripped them on the field right after the game. That is where they lost the season.

Rank the State (1A Fan Rankings)
Beechwood and LCA obviously deserve top billing for now. I will say that Bellevue will be top 10 before the season is over.
-
Bellevue's Field
All the brown you saw were all the grass clippings from the recent mowing. I know it looked bad from 471, but if you get to run around the track, you can see the grass looks good.

Bellevue's Field
Bellevue had Bermuda grass installed last year and it looked great last year. It got chewed up a bit in the middle at the end of the season when Bermuda hibernates. It is a little patchy in the middle and this is due to the mild summer so far. Now that the temp is hitting the 90's, it should fill in quite rapidly. It will look super!

Who said it for a premium prize?
Bishop Brossart new coach Reinhart
-
Brossart Hires New Head Football Coach
Coach Pelgen would have been a great choice as well. The kids love him and demands the best from the kids.
