Drove by it about a week ago and it indeed was not green in the middle of the field.

The last couple of years it was no where near this good looking at this point in time.

Bellevue had Bermuda grass installed last year and it looked great last year. It got chewed up a bit in the middle at the end of the season when Bermuda hibernates.

 

It is a little patchy in the middle and this is due to the mild summer so far. Now that the temp is hitting the 90's, it should fill in quite rapidly.

 

It will look super!

All the brown you saw were all the grass clippings from the recent mowing. I know it looked bad from 471, but if you get to run around the track, you can see the grass looks good.

I drove past this late this morning and the field looks superb! Who ever takes take of the grass down there is doing a fantastic job and should get a major raise! It hasn't looked this good in years.

 

 

Golf course greens' keepers should take notes from that guy!:ylsuper:

Drove over the 471 bridge this weekend, and the field is looking really good. Keep up the good work! It is something to be proud of.
