ColdHard, are you saying that Cov Cath is better than everybody on that list b/c they played Highlands close? Or because they beat Beechwood and Boone Co? Highlands may go 11-0...CC aint.

I see a few teams on that list that would beat Cov Cath....rivalry or no rivalry. BG, Scott Co., Warren Central, John Hardin, maybe even Lex Cath and NCC. Cov Cath has a very good football team, but they're no juggernaut. You could say that(prohibitive) about the 2009 bluebirds, but not so much this year....IMO.

Highlands is still the favorite.....but if you don't think Lexington Catholic/Boyle County/or Cov Cath can sneak up on ya and win......:lol:

John Hardin did not rush the punter or even attempt to return any punts either. Iroquois is just that bad...sad really

I'll go with Lexington Catholic. Both teams are very similar, but LC throws the ball much better. Don't think Boyle can score with LC.

I think JH has a pretty decent team, but I think Boyle will show up and play their best game yet this season. If Meade County can neutralize their running attack, I think Boyle will do even better. Boyle 35- JH 13

Looks to be two evenly matched teams. Your thoughts?

Meade always seems to play John Hardin tough...tougher if they play them at home. However, this contest will be at John Hardin. JH will something to prove after a lackluster performance against Lexington Catholic. JH 42-MC21

I'll take LC. It's at home for LC. I think their technique and consistency will be an advantage. Bolin will probably get rid of the ball quickly to avoid pressure from the JH Defensive front. JH may overlook LC after the lopsided victory over Henry Clay. Right or wrong, it should be close. LC 35-27
