Who else in 4A can run like CCH did today? It's going to take a really good offense , like CCH, to stay with HHS. Your line has to dominate.

Highlands was vulnerable to both the run and the pass today. They have lots of work to do on the defensive side of the ball.

Even if it's CCH who beats Highlands that is still someone other than Highlands who can win 4A. For the last 2-3 weeks no one has given anyone else in 4A a chance against Highlands. I think CCH proved today that those thoughts are premature. We also still have no idea if Highlands can keep up with LexCath's offense either.

 

And of course, I'd still pick my Rebels at home in November against Highlands.

Yes, we can agree on that. HHS went from done deal to prohibitive favorite today.

After today, I'd much rather see the Birds have to play a 2nd game against Boyle than against CCH.

All I can say is that the HHS D needs to get it figured out..No pressure on Bir at all today...Gray also had some huge holes to run through..

I don't think this changes much. The rivalry factor can "muddy the water", but after a couple of weeks thing will start to be clear again.

No Whackem it really wasn't. It was gut check time. When the preverbal you know what was hit the fan the better team sucked hit up and won. The difference in Covington Catholic and Highlands this year is that if Highlands has the ball in the same position that Covington Catholic was in today Highlands scores. Anybody that says any different is delusional.

 

You should be the most amazed of all my friend. Highlands came into, according to you, the Cameron Indoor Arena of high school football and came away with a victory.
