What's really scary is Lexington Catholic is still lurking out there and who is, IMO, a more potent offense.

I tend to agree. The Birds had chances that they gave away with turnovers and special teams mistakes. If they can learn that you have to stop CC running off-tackle for five yards every play...they MAY be able to win the next one handily. Fortunately, this one will be in our house.

Who else in 4A can run like CCH did today? It's going to take a really good offense , like CCH, to stay with HHS. Your line has to dominate.

 

I'm not sure, but Cov Cath has an enormous offensive line. Today was my first time seeing Cov Cath play and I was impressed.

In my opinion your best offense is keeping the birds offense from the field. CCH very nice ball control huge holes and short passing game. Had a field day throwing away from New. Murray had a game he will likely not enjoy film session. The Birds will have new wrinkles when they play again. HHS was beat upfront. Fantastic O-line CCH; however defense very suspect, we should have scored all day.

I think the only teams capable of doing so are....in order....LexCath, CovCath, Boyle. Gotta play the game though.

Covcath dominated Lex Cath last year and much better this year. CovCath has the formula to win. Control the line of scrimmage and keep Highlands offense off the field.
