Luke unfortunately broke his collar bone in the Beechwood JV game last week but he as a Frosh along with Nick Pope were a force as CovCath RB's.

Nick is fine and is trying out for the Basketball team this season and IMO just might start for the CovCath varsity baseball team.

 

After the football injury last year in the Frosh Championship game he didn't get to play basketball and he and his parents decided it would be in his best interest to not play football this season. Quite frankly while he wouldn't have cracked the starting lineup as a RB's he just might have been a starting DB or LB on the varsity. Fast as can be and he hits like a truck! Great kid!

By no means am I an expert on HHS (or very little else for that matter), however, I do think that to beat Highlands you better have 11 good players on the field because you know HHS will. If you don't, sooner or later Highlands will exploit it.
