  1. Starting to think Christian County will win this contest. Really big up front. I'm afraid they may just push Jh's front four around all night. Dawgs will have to play really well to advance.
  2. They won't beat Highlands. I don't think anyone in 5-A can. The Bluebirds will have to stay in the locker room for that to happen. Just see if the Colonels can keep it close. Thats all I want for Christmas.
  3. Hey, did yaw get tickets?....Tickets to the GUN SHOW!!
  4. This game like all games will be won in the trenches. CC has a great line and some big kids. John Hardin also has a good looking line. John's line may be a little soft at times. I hope, for their sake, they bring a little attitude with them this friday. :thumb:
  5. Unless CC has some new alien Defense Mark Brown has never seen before...I'd say he'll find a way to block it.
  6. Turnovers were the story of the night. Doss had 6. John had 3 and a dropped touchdown pass. Pretty sloppy play by both. Hats off to Doss, they have a great team and coach in Farmer. Good job JH. To win against that kind of talent in their backyard says a lot about the character of your team. Good luck Dawgs! I'll be in the pound next week.
  7. The last time JH played PRP, Fern Creek, and Male....they won. They lost to St. X in '05 by 1pt. A two point conversion that was dropped by JH. So I do believe that JH can play with those schools...regardless of what classification they are. Louisville does have all the athletes...its just a shame most of them congregate together and pretend to be catholics.
  8. Both PRP and Fern Creek are 6-A...a class that has a whopping two really good teams. After that...it can be anybody that wins on a given night. So don't tell me your losses were to powerhouse schools. JH will have to play well to beat Doss. But if JH plays great...well you do the math. If there's a knock about the JH squad, its there inconsistency. Given the current situation between these two schools, I'd bet JH will be a bit more focused this time around with their deep threat and punter back.
  9. Probably not. Seems pretty happy where he's at. You never know though...
  10. Looks like a casting call for Blades of Glory 2!
  11. its not an upset if they've already beat the team once....:irked:
  12. There's a 30% chance of a rain shower....rain or no rain....JH will still play with a chip on their shoulder. The dawgs have been waitin' for this opportunity. :flame: JH 35 Doss 14
  13. So is Collinsworth the fastest Bluebird? Took a look at some of his highlights from last year.....pretty good athlete.
  14. Other than Trinity and St. Xavier, are there any other good teams in 6-A??? That's why they're not getting respect. Of course I know different, but most people are ignorant. Oldham has a fine football team. They're Mic is incredible. JH has been preparing for the fight of their lives. If its a dry field, Oldham may not be ready for that animal. JH-35 OC-21
  15. Why would anyone fear Danville this year???Have they ever been worse?
  16. Bardstown is battle tested....with new life...and just a bit more confidence right now. Not many people in the state, regardless of class, match up with the Tigers' skill positions. Btown-35 Monroe-21
  17. I have to agree with you Centre Tigers. Just too much firepower for the cards. What a tough way to start the playoffs. Good luck to the cards and i hope they play the game of their lives. :ylsuper:
  18. X. Maybe if Nelson had Boggs from '96...it could be closer.
  19. Looks like rain in the forecast. Should slow down JH a little bit. At this point its not a good idea to overlook anyone.... First round or not. Closer than spread. JH- 35 GC- 21
  20. Should be wet by Friday. We'll see how the speed advantage plays out. Bardstown 28 Metcalfe 21
  21. Not trying to mislead anyone. Everything posted was said...really.
