  1. JH has been flat through most of the season. I was surprised to hear Nelson blowing JH off the ball during the first half. If JH can get started quickly, they may have a chance.....otherwise, North will roll by at least 2 TD's.:fight:
  2. I don't think JH can hang that many on Meade at home. I'd like to see John get another win, but I don't think it happens this week. Meade 21 JH 14:irked:
  3. I think this ballgame could be a good one. They're playing in the "hole" down in Meade County. Who wins this one?
  4. I have to agree with you about Beaumont. He does it all. Vic is a good back, and he runs behind possibly the best 0-line in the state. I just don't believe Vic is as versatile as Beaumont. Jordan Kramer has great feet, and good vision. He is an excellent back as well. He doesn't have the extra gear that Vic and Beaumont have though. It's a long season, but I think Beaumont is the best football player in this state.:thumb:
  5. Oldcamelnewbird, I have to agree. Beaumont doesn't pass the "eye test" as well as Vic does. Doug may not be as sought after with regard to his size, but he makes up for it in athleticism. Chicks dig Scars....There are plenty of people who get D-1 scholarships who aren't any good....check out UK's roster.
  6. I'm not concerned with who has the better team. I think X will win in head to head competition, but I don't believe Vic is the athlete Beaumont is.
  7. They competed with Christian County, PRP, and Henderson County....and didn't need much of an offense to do it.
  8. COULD be 4-0 being the key phrase here. I agree that JH has the talent to be undefeated, but they're 1-3 for a reason. As much as I'd like to see JH win the district....they won't.
  9. I've had the opportunity to see both. Beaumont in a landslide:walk: Better vision, Better cutter, Better moves, Better hands. No question!:flame: Engrave the thing already!!!:thumb:
  10. The boro has a quick and aggressive defense. However, they are undersized. Nick Hall is a pretty quick running back for the red devils, however, he's no Beaumont. Male wins....by at least 14!:thumb:
  11. The starting 2 technique did not play. However, it wouldn't have mattered. Its a lack of heart....and confidence now.:scared:
  12. Apollo is not very good....but John Hardin is worse!:scared:
  13. If he ran a 19.68 200, then screw football, he's only .36 seconds off the all-time world record. His 40 is irrelevant. He should forget football and run track instead. I'll look forward to seeing him return kicks at Miami!:thumb:
  14. No I'm not saying that....I believe you....so send him to the NFL. Speed is speed, and world class sprinters run legit 4.3's. Hopefully he's not on steroids yet, maybe we can use him for the US track team.
  15. WOW! I bet the college coaches couldn't handle that time! Keep in mind that last year's Heisman winner ran a 4.53 at the combine. That kid might want to just skip college altogether!
  16. Clark is a good back and he'll play somewhere at the next level, but lets not get carried away. Running Backs like Clark are a dime a dozen in places like Florida and Georgia. I seriously doubt Vic Anderson or Doug Beaumont will even play on this team.
  17. Billy Jackson or Xavier Bacon??? Who will prevail and more importantly why???:ylsuper:
